For more than 40 years the abrasive mop, also often termed fan abrasive or lamellae mounted point, was developed by Klingspor. Since then the abrasive mop has been extremely well used, and proven to be economical, in all areas of surface finishing.
Through its fan-shaped and radial arrangement of grinding flaps around the axis, the abrasive mop matches perfectly the contour of the work piece to be ground. Using different forms, the abrasive mop can be applied to finishing convex and concave surfaces.
